Man shot to death in Austin

A man who was shot to death Friday evening in the West Side Austin neighborhood has been identified as a southwest suburban man.

Terall Adams, 20, was shot several times while sitting in a vehicle at 5:45 p.m. in the 800 block of North Latrobe Avenue, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Adams was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:15 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office. He lived in the 13900 block of Trillium Lane in Plainfield.

An autopsy found he died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.
