Man shot in West Englewood

A man was shot Wednesday morning in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 20-year-old victim was in the 7200 block of South Paulina just after 8 a.m. when he “heard shots and felt pain,” according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
