Man shot in Little Village

A man walked into a hospital early Wednesday and told investigators he was shot in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 2:15 a.m., the 32-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the back and walked into University of Illinois Hospital & Health Sciences System, according to Chicago Police.

He said the shooting happened at South Western and South Blue Island avenues, police said. His condition was not immediately available.
