Man shot in Canaryville

A man was shot Sunday night in the Canaryville neighborhood on the South Side.

The 31-year-old man was sitting in the back seat of an SUV in the 4800 block of South Wallace Street at 10:05 p.m. when a male fired shots from the sidewalk, police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm and refused medical attention.
