Man shot in South Shore

A 35-year-old man was shot early Thursday in the South Shore neighborhood.

He was sitting in a parked car just before 12:40 a.m. in the 7100 block of South Clyde when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right thigh and shoulder and took himself to Jackson Park Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
