Man shot in West Pullman

A man was shot late Thursday in the Far South Side West Pullman neighborhood.

The 22-year-old was walking on the sidewalk in the 11700 block of South Peoria at 10:30 p.m. when a male walked up from behind and shot him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
