The Bears waived former fourth-round pick Khaseem Greene in May, and the veteran linebacker was cut again on Friday by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to his agent Andy Simms.

In Greene’s last preseason game with the Buccaneers, he led the team with seven solo tackles and a 98-yard interception for a touchdown.

Greene played two seasons with the Bears after being drafted No. 117 overall out of Rutgers. He started six times and recorded 45 tackles while playing in 25 games.
During the three preseason games with Tampa Bay, Greene only had 14 total tackles. It wasn’t good enough to make the team. There’s no indication where Greene is headed next.
