SHARE Man shot in head in Bridgeport

A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after a gang-related shooting in the South Side Bridgeport neighborhood early Tuesday.

The shooting happened about 1 a.m. in the 2500 block of South Halsted, according to preliminary information from police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. Further information was not immediately available.
