Charles Tillman salutes Calvin Johnson

SHARE Charles Tillman salutes Calvin Johnson

With Calvin Johnson apparently headed toward retirement, former Bears corner Charles Tillman gave a final saltute to the man he once called “the Goliath of receivers.”

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Sunday that Johnson, a six-time Pro Bowler, told the Lions that 2015 would be his final season.

Johnson played more games (17) against Chicago than he did against any other opponent, and was frequently matched up against Tillman. His 96 receptions for 1,480 yards against the Bears also represent career highs. Johnson’s final touchdown catch – as well as his most famous non-touchdown catch – came versus Chicago.

If Megatron is indeed done, he’ll finish with 731 receptions for 11,619 yards and 83 touchdowns.
