Chicago Police are warning residents of armed robberies in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

In each incident, one to three men walked up to victims, pulled out a handgun and forcibly took their property, according to a community alert from police.

The robberies happened:

  • At 11 p.m. June 17 in the 5100 block of West Madison;
  • At 1 a.m. June 28 in the 100 block of North Lavergne;
  • And at 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the 5200 block of West Gladys.

The suspects are described as one to three black men, 18-26 years old, standing 5-foot-6 to 6 feet tall and weighing 180-200 pounds, police said. They had dreadlocks, and one of the suspects had a red and green star neck tattoo.
