Two people were shot in the Pilsen neighborhood Saturday evening.

A 24-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man were sitting outside at 10:52 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Carpenter when a male approached and started shooting, according to Chicago Police.

The woman was shot in both legs, her calf and foot, police said. The man suffered a graze wound to one of his legs. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

Police said the man is a documented gang member.
