A 16-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man were shot Saturday evening in the South Side Calumet Heights neighborhood.

They were shot about 5:12 p.m. in the 2200 block of East 93rd, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot multiple times and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said. The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
