A man was shot Saturday afternoon in the West Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 27-year-old was outside about 2:30 p.m. when a silver or white vehicle drove by in the 4500 block of West Augusta and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg, police said. His condition had stabilized.
