Man, 19, shot in Lawndale

A man was shot Friday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 6:15 p.m., the 19-year-old was in the 1300 block of South Spaulding when a male fired shots, striking him in his chest, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
