A man found Monday in the West Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side has been identified and returned home.
The man was shirtless and wearing khaki pants when he was found about 8:25 p.m. in the 2200 block of West Devon Avenue, Chicago Police said. He is non-verbal and may have a cognitive disability. He was taken to a hospital in Evanston.
Authorities initially asked the public for help identifying the man, but he has since been identified and has returned to his home, police said early Tuesday.
