A 32-year-old man was killed and a 42-year-old woman was wounded early Friday in an East Garfield Park neighborhood shooting at a West Side motorcycle club.

About 2:30 a.m., Charles Luckett and the woman were inside the Midnight Riders Clubhouse, 3808 W. Chicago Ave., when someone opened fire, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

They were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where Luckett died of a gunshot wound to the chest at 4:28 a.m., authorities said. He lived in the neighborhood.

An autopsy on Saturday found he died of his wounds and his death was ruled a homicide.

The woman was shot in the ankle and listed in good condition, police said. No one was in custody for the shooting.
