A man was shot early Sunday in the Southwest Side Marquette Park neighborhood.

The 27-year-old was standing on a front porch about 1:05 a.m. in the 6600 block of South Campbell when several males fired shots from a gangway, striking him in the back, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
