A 19-year-old man was shot Saturday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Someone shot the man’s left leg from a red sedan about 11:10 p.m. while he was standing on the sidewalk in the 5000 block of West Monroe, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
