A 19-year-old man was shot Wednesday evening in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

About 5 p.m., he was in front of a home in the 1800 block of West 88th Street when gray sedan approached and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle and was taken in good condition to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, police said.

The boy was shot in the leg and taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good condition, police said.
The two were standing on a sidewalk about 4:50 p.m. in the 6600 block of South Blackstone Avenue when someone fired shots, police said.
