A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 21-year-old was walking down the street at 12:26 p.m. in the 3200 block of West Evergreen when a light-colored car drove by and someone inside fired shots at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the back and chest and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
