A person robbed a credit union at gunpoint Friday morning in south suburban Midlothian.

At 11:15 a.m., the male suspect, who was armed with a handgun, robbed the South Division Credit Union at 14740 Cicero Ave., according to the FBI.

The suspect was described as a 6-foot-2 black male with a medium build and complexion, the FBI said. He was seen wearing dark blue overalls.

Anyone with information about the robbery should call the FBI’s Chicago field office at (312) 421-6700. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
