A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

About 9:20 a.m., Terrell D. Robinson was walking north in the 400 block of South Laramie Avenue when a black Chevrolet Impala drove up and two people got out and fired at him, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Robinson was struck in his head and taken to Loretto Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:41 a.m., authorities said. He lived in the Lawndale neighborhood.

The shooters got back into the Impala, which drove south on Laramie Avenue.

A police source said the shooting appeared to be related to a drug sale.
