A 45-year-old man was injured after being shot in Little Village on the West Side.

Just before 6 a.m., the man was shot in the neck in the 2600 block of West 23rd Street, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
