A man was killed Friday in a vehicle crash in Marquette Park on the Southwest Side.

Jorge Luis Reza Gallardo, 26, was driving a 1998 Toyota Camry about 3:15 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Kanst Drive when he crashed into a tree, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and pronounced dead, authorities said.

An autopsy conducted Saturday found that the man died from multiple injuries from a motor vehicle striking a fixed object, the medical examiner’s office said. The death was ruled an accident.

He lived in Marquette Park.
