Authorities in Northbrook searched a property Tuesday in connection with a missing persons case from 1982.

Investigators were following up on a lead in the 1400 block of Orchard Lane into the disappearance of Linda Seymour, the Northbrook police said in a written statement.

Police released few details.

Seymour was 35 years old when she was last seen in December 1982 in Northbrook.

The North Regional Major Crimes Task Force was called in to assist, the police said.
