A second man has died after a shooting in late April in Albany Park on the Northwest Side.

Charles Hudson, 56, died Wednesday morning from complications of wounds from the April 30 shooting, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Police said Hudson and Rodney Dwaine King were shot in the 3400 block of West Sunnyside Avenue around 6 a.m. that morning. King, 31, was pronounced dead at the scene with a gunshot wound to his head.

The older man was shot in the leg and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, police said then.

Police reported no arrests.
