With Alshon Jeffery’s future in Chicago uncertain, the Bears are looking north of the boarder to add wide receiver depth.

Chicago reportedly hosted CFL star Eric Rogers for a workout this week.

Rogers, 24, had a league-leading 1,448 yards and 10 touchdowns on 87 receptions this season for the Calgary Stampeders.

The 6-foot-3 receiver went undrafted out of Cal Lutheran in 2013 and bounced around between the Dallas Cowboys and the Arena Football League before finally landing in the CFL.

According to NFL Trade Rumors, several teams are believed to be interested in Rogers, including the 49ers, Patriots, Chargers, Eagles, Vikings, Browns, Texans and Jets.

CFL free agency doesn’t begin until Feb. 9, so Rogers won’t need to make a decision for at least another month.

With injuries to both Jeffery and first-round pick Kevin White, Chicago was forced to rely on unproven receivers Marquess Wilson, Marc Mariani and Joshua Bellamy.
