The Bears chose Georgia Southern cornerback Kindle Vildor in the fifth round of the NFL Draft at No. 163 overall.

The Bears opened the draft by taking Notre Dame tight end Cole Kmet and Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson in the second round Friday.

They also traded a 2021 fourth-rounder to the Vikings for a fifth-rounder at No. 155 and took Tulsa defensive end Trevis Gipson.

Their remaining picks are sixth-rounders at Nos. 196 and 200 and seventh-rounders at Nos. 226 and 233.
