Man shot and killed in Garfield Park

A man was killed Tuesday after being shot in Garfield Park on the West Side.

Jabari Davis, 44, was on the street about 6:29 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Adams Street when someone fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. 

Davis was struck in the chest and side, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made as Area North detectives investigate.
