A man waskilled Tuesday after being shot in Garfield Park on the West Side.

Jabari Davis, 44, was on the street about 6:29 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Adams Street when someone fired shots, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Davis was struckin the chest and side, police said. He was taken to Stroger Hospitalwhere he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made as Area North detectives investigate.
