Man found shot to death in Edison Park home

A 40-year-old man was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds Tuesday in Edison Park on the Northwest Side.

Officers found Luis Arana about 6:57 p.m. inside a home in the 7300 block of North Harlem Avenue, Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He had gunshot wounds to the leg and torso, and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Autopsy results released Wednesday confirmed he died of multiple gunshot wounds, and ruled his death a homicide, the medical examiner’s office said.

No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.
