Three burglaries were reported last week in the Chicago Lawn community.

In each incident, someone broke into a residence and stole property from within, Chicago police said.

Police are warning Chicago Lawn residents about a string of burglaries that occurred last week in the Southwest Side community area.

In each incident, someone broke into a residence and stole property from within, Chicago police said.

The burglaries occurred:

  • About 1:30 p.m., May 27 in the 6200 block of South Rockwell;
  • About 2:30 p.m., May 28 in the 2700 block of West 64th Street; and
  • About 6:35 p.m. May 31 in the 6100 block of South Artesian Avenue.

No description of the burglar was provided.
