Police are investigating after someone robbed a convenience store Feb. 23, 2020, in the 3500 block of North Pulaski Road in Avondale.

Someone robbed a convenience store Sunday in Avondale on the Northwest Side.

The male suspect walked into the store wearing all dark clothing at 11:50 p.m. in the 3500 block of North Pulaski Road, according to Chicago police. He announced a robbery and implied he had a weapon.

The clerk handed over an unspecified amount of cash before the robber ran away, police said.

No one was injured, and no arrests have been made as Area North detectives investigate.
