A man died Sunday after being dropped off at St. Bernard Hospital in Englewood with a gunshot wound to his head.

The 27-year-old was dropped off about 5 p.m. at the hospital, 326 W. 64th St., Chicago police said. He was pronounced dead on arrival.

Kevin Forbes was pronounced dead on arrival, police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Investigators believe he was shot in the 6900 block of South Woodlawn Avenue in the Grand Crossing neighborhood, police said.

Area One detectives are conducting a homicide investigation.
