A man was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Lawndale on the West Side.

Police found the man shot in the left upper chest about 2 a.m. in the 4500 block of West Grenshaw Street, Chicago police said.

Gustavo Macedo, 35, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he later died, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No one was in custody.
