Steve Statland had a Hall of a reach. And Steve Sarley is talking big, Martha.

Statland picked up his formal induction into the Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame at the Chicago Muskie Show Saturday.

But I think the Lincolnwood man deserves as nearly as big an honor for those he got to stand up there with him. That group included his wife Ronni, Emmett Brown, Larry Ramsell, Joe Bucher, Spence Petros, Don Dubin, John Dettloff and Wendy Williamson.

I will be a guest on Morning Living on the Martha Stewart Radio Network again. We’ll be discussing and taking calls about ice fishing on Wednesday, 1/20. The show airs at 6:30 a.m.entral Time on Sirius Radio on Channel 112 and on XM Radio on Channel 157.

Sarley’s weekly radio show is heard on WIND 560-AM at 5 a.m. Sundays.
