Radio Waves: Capt. Ralph Steiger

SHARE Radio Waves: Capt. Ralph Steiger

Capt. Ralph Steiger talks fall fishing, big smallmouth bass and a life on the water this afternoon on “Outside.”

We started with big smallmouth, but get to fall kings, fall lake trout and even sheephead.

And we touch on how he ended up as a multi-species captain. I remember Steiger first in his early teens working at Mik-Lurch.

“Outside” airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. The rebroadcasts are at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
