Comedian and actor Richard Kind — a 1978 graduate of Northwestern University and Second City alum — and his wife Dana Stanley are separating. According to Closer Weekly the breakup is “amicable.”

When the magazine asked Kind about the situation, he said, “I don’t want to talk about that. I don’t want my kids to know.”

That likely is no longer the case.

The couple have been married for 14 years and are the parents of three children — an 11-year-old daughter and 9-year-old twins, a boy and a girl.
