A man accidentally shot himself Sunday in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side, police said.

The 23-year-old man suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg in the 6300 block of South Campbell Avenue at 7:55 p.m., police said.

The man was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
