Police are warning South Side residents after four burglaries were reported this month in the West Englewood neighborhood.

The suspects break in forcibly through a door or window, according to the community alert from Area South detectives.

The burglaries happened:

  • about 4 p.m. Oct. 6 in the 1600 block of West 66th Street;
  • about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 6800 block of South Justine;
  • about 11:30 p.m. Oct. 8 in the 6700 block of South Wood; and
  • about 11:10 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 6600 block of South Hermitage.
