NATO Secretary Anders Fogh Rasmussen talks about Chicago

Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn and Amy Rule, wife of Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel threw a spotlight on Chicago Thursday at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium--at the opening of a kick-off highlighting the city in advance of the May summit.

The theme at the exhibit: “For every taste, there is one Chicago.”

“We want you to come early and stay late and enjoy the great state of Illinois,” Quinn said at the ceremony showcasing the city.

More than 50 world leaders will attend a NATO summit in Chicago in May at McCormick Place.

“We have a lot to look forward to in Chicago,” said NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen at the opening of an exhibit that celebrated, as Rasmussen said Thursday,”the tastes, the sights and the sounds of this exciting city.”
