DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2012

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to Northern Virginia Community College in Annandale, Virginia, to deliver remarks to students on his FY 2013 Budget. This event is open to pre-credentialed members of the media.

In the afternoon, the President will award the 2011 National Medal of Arts and National Humanities Medal in the East Room. The First Lady will also attend. This event will be open press and will also be live streamed at www.WhiteHouse.gov/Live.

12:30PM Office of Management and Budget Acting Director Jeffrey Zients will discuss the President’s FY 2013 Budget at a news conference. Alan Krueger, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers (CEA), Gene Sperling, Director of the National Economic Council (NEC), and Cecilia Munoz, Director of the Domestic Policy Council (DPC), will join Acting Director Zients to discuss the Budget and the President’s plan for an economy built to last.
