The Bears added to their offensive line depth Saturday night, agreeing to terms with former Falconsoffensive tackle Tom Compton, according to league sources.

Compton appeared in 16 games with the Falcons last year after spending his first four seasons with the Redskins. He’s started 11 games in his career.

At 6-5, 315 pounds, he’ll give the Bears addeddepth behind left tackle Charles Leno and right tackle Bobby Massie.

In fatal attacks this weekend, a woman was killed and a gunman was among two others wounded in a shootout Friday night in Chinatown, Chicago police said.
The man was found about 10 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Harding Avenue with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The officer’s name has not been released.
