The best opportunity for backups to impress the coaches is during the preseason, and Bears fourth-string corner Terrance Mitchell is showing what he can do on the field against the Indianapolis Colts.
On a second down and 20, Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck aired a ball out for receiver Donte Moncrief. But Mitchell jumped over the top of Moncrief and stole the ball away from the Colts receiver.

These are the type of plays the coaches are looking for out of the backups, and this should help Mitchell make the roster.
