Jim Lukancic, fast becoming an even better nature photographer than walleye fisherman, was photographing a red-winged blackbird harassing a red-tailed hawk when he caught the red-wing landing on the red-tail.

It deserves a special Wednesday edition of Wild of the Week.

Normally WOTW, the celebration of wild scenes around Chicago outdoors, runs Sundays on the outdoors page as warranted. This was not normal wild, so it ran as a special Wednesday edition.
