A man who was shot to death Wednesday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side has been identified.

Gregory Wong, 51, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the head at 7:21 p.m. in the 3000 block of West 5th Avenue, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Wong, of the 2900 block of South Emerald, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:30 p.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
