Happy day, Bat fans.

The Dark Knight’s 75th birthday is today, and comic book shops across the country celebrate the caped wonder’s big day by giving away free copies of Detective Comics #27 Special Edition. The book is an updated take on the comic that first introduced Batman to the world.

Participating comic book stores, as well as Barnes and Noble locations and Books-A-Million locations are participating.

On Saturday, July 26, public libraries join the party with Batman-themed activities and giveaways — including the free Detective Comics #27 Special Edition.
