ROLLING MEADOWS – When Dundee-Crown sprinted out to a 20-point halftime lead Monday, it looked like the Chargers were going to cruise through the opening game of the 4A boys basketball Rolling Meadows regional. Facing the regional hosts, however, advancement wouldn’t come easy for the Chargers.

Rolling Meadows clawed its way back into the game in the second half but the hole was too deep and Dundee-Crown did enough down the stretch to hold on for a 72-68 victory.
