The death of a man in south suburban Markham has been ruled a homicide, officials said Wednesday.

Mark Angelous, 35, was killed in the 15700 block of Trumbull Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He lived on the same block and was pronounced dead at 12:05 a.m. Wednesday at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey.

An autopsy concluded that he died of multiple injuries from an asault, the medical examiner’s office said.

Markham police could not provide details of his death Wednesday night.
