A man was shot Tuesday night in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 18-year-old walked into Rush University Medical Center about 11:30 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the right shoulder, police said.

He told investigators he was walking in the 4200 block of West Washington when he heard shots and felt pain, police said. His condition was stabilized.
