A Texas man is facing misdemeanor charges after Chicago Police escorted him off a plane Wednesday evening at O’Hare International Airport.

Officers called to a disturbance on a plane about 7:40 p.m. arrested 31-year-old Adam Kealing, who resisted them, police said.

An officer suffered a minor hand injury in a tussle with Kealing, and was treated and released from a hospital, police said.

Kealing, of Austin, Texas, was hospitalized for an unrelated health condition and later booked for misdemeanor battery and three counts of resisting arrest, police said. He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
